Get a quick price quote by filling out the short form below. 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Overview The Corvette is a two-seat sports car available as a targa-roof coupe, convertible, or the high-performance Z06 and ZR1 hardtop coupes. The coupe and convertible come with a 430-hp LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine and six-speed manual transmission. A six-speed automatic with steering wheel paddle shifters is available. An optional dual-mode exhaust increases horsepower to 436-hp. The Grand Sport trim adds a performance package to the coupe and convertible with a sportier suspension, wider wheels, tires, and fenders, and high performance brakes. The Z06 comes with a 505-hp LS7 7.0-liter V8 engine, a six-speed manual transmission, sport handling suspension, and bigger wheels and tires. New for 2011 is a Z07 Ultimate Performance Package for the Z06. The amazing ZR1 comes with a supercharged 638-hp LS9 6.2-liter V8, a six-speed manual transmission, Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension, special carbon fiber components and Brembo ceramic brakes. All manual transmissions include launch control. For 2011, the Chevrolet Corvette is a carryover from 2010.

The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette is pretty much the automotive equivalent of a summer action movie. Lots of noise, lots of action, lots of sexy bodywork, but not all that sophisticated in terms of plot. For some, this could be enough to head over to the local art cinema for something German with English subtitles. But for us, the Corvette still represents great automotive fun, even with the big explosions and silly dialogue. Naturally, the Corvette's special effects are directly related to what's under the hood. Even the base coupe and convertible come with a thumping 6.2-liter V8 good for 430 horsepower. From here you can move up to the Z06, which is the racetrack-oriented model that gains a 7.0-liter V8 cranking out 505 hp. Then there's the ZR1, which sees your Rambo and raises him by a Terminator, because it has a supercharged V8 that flexes its biceps to the tune of 638 hp. To read more click here. |
