It is based on a global platform that has been refined for America with an emphasis on fuel economy. The Cruze features two new small-displacement four-cylinder engines; a 140-hp 1.4-liter turbo, or a 138-hp naturally-aspirated 1.8-liter. Depending on trim, a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. Available safety features include ten airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control and anti-theft alarm with engine immobilizer. The Cruze can be equipped with features such as heated leather power seating, sunroof, remote start, satellite radio, navigation system and automatic climate control. The Cruze continues into 2012 with minimal changes.
2012 Chevrolet Cruze Reviews
The Cruze symbolizes the progress that GM is making to sort out its engineering fundamentals, product quality and global manufacturing plan--everything for which the company historically (and deservedly) has been kicked. It goes toe-to-toe with the Honda Civic, schools the Toyota Corolla and makes the outgoing Cobalt seem all the more embarrassing. The Cruze takes to the curves ably, with a competent suspension and good body control. The four-door Cruze is a handsome car, shaped in the fashion of Chevrolet's well-received, mid-size Malibu sedan, with even better proportions. Its arcing roofline creates the effect of a two-door coupe, and the Cruze looks longer and wider than many of its competitors, with shorter overhangs beyond the front and rear wheels. It will come standard with 16-inch wheels and offer a 17-inch option. Generic and sedate--actually, borderline boring--with a blunt front end and a profile that doesn?t exactly call attention to its character. As adapted for the U.S. market, the Cruze is mad for safety, with standard-equipment 10 standard airbags, rollover sensor, stability control, pre-tensioning front seat belts and automatic headlamps. Chevrolet has made life harder than it needs to be with the Cruze's lusterless sheet metal. |

WELCOME TO COX FAMILY OF DEALERSHIPS
The Cox family according to family lore has been in the automobile business since the early 1900’s. During the teens and twenties they operated a Ford franchise in Ocilla, Georgia. During the boom years of the Roaring Twenties they moved to Avon Park, Florida where they operated a Dodge dealership.
With over 80 plus years experience in the successful operation of automotive dealerships, the Cox family and all of its loyal employees have earned a respectable and secure place in the Bradenton community. The past is something to be proud of, but the greatest period lies ahead. We are all part of the team, which will write a new and even more exciting chapter in the company’s history book.
